Missouri Synod

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is a Bible-based, mission-oriented, confessional Christian denomination headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.    
 
The LCMS has more than 2.3 million baptized members, 6,200 congregations, and 9,000 pastors.
 
Two seminaries (in St. Louis and Ft. Wayne, Indiana) and 10 colleges and universities operate under its auspices. Affiliated congregations operate the largest Protestant Parochial School system in America.
 
Mission work is ongoing in 90 countries around the world.
