SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:00 a.m.
Sunday School provides a time of focused Christian Education for Children age 2 through 12th grade. Classes are centered in Christ and call children to grow in faith. The children’s curriculums provide an expansive study of various Biblical stories and themes. Our Sunday school Director, Marilyn Taylor, would be glad to discuss any questions you may have. She can be reached at (765) 653-9577.
CONFIRMATION CLASS
Confirmation classes are offered for sixth & seventh graders beginning in the fall of each year. The pastor and other leaders introduce the basics of the Bible and Christian doctrine. It is our goal to assist parents as they seek to bring up their children in the Christian faith. The students use this study to make their statements of faith and confirm their Baptism in front of the congregation, and receive the blessings given in Holy Communion.
YOUNG ADULT FELLOWSHIP
The “Youth of Peace” - Grades six through twelve - meets every Wednesday evening, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m., to join in Christian fellowship, Bible study, Mission Outreach and Service Activities, Food and FUN! Other special activities such as Lock-ins, camping retreats, and swimming parties, are also held throughout the year.
ADOPT A DEPAUW STUDENT
This family-student centered program provides a safe harbor for the students of DePauw who are here away from home. Each volunteering Christian family offers a student the warmth of family fellowship – invitation to holiday events – and a empty place in the pew next to a friendly, familiar face on Sunday mornings.
COLLEGE & YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY
This weekly study allows young adults to share and grow their faith in a small group setting while enjoying Christian fellowship. The class covers current topics affecting today’s young adults. Together we discover Biblical truths and grow in abundant life in Christ.
